Discover Yoko Ramen

If you’re in the mood for a flavorful bowl of ramen in Salt Lake City, Yoko Ramen is a must-visit spot that consistently delivers an exceptional dining experience. Located at 473 E 300 S, this cozy yet modern eatery has earned a reputation for serving delicious, soul-warming bowls of ramen, paired with a laid-back, welcoming atmosphere that makes it a favorite among locals and visitors alike.

When you walk into Yoko Ramen, you’re immediately greeted by the inviting smell of freshly prepared broths, rich in flavor and complexity. The restaurant boasts a variety of ramen options, each offering a unique twist on traditional recipes, ensuring that there's something for everyone. Whether you're a fan of spicy miso or a more classic tonkotsu, the menu offers a delightful array of choices.

A standout on the menu is the Tonkotsu Ramen. The broth is made from slow-simmered pork bones, creating a deep, hearty flavor that's perfectly balanced by the soft noodles and tender slices of pork. This dish exemplifies what Yoko Ramen does best-transforming simple ingredients into a rich, flavorful experience. For those seeking something a little different, their spicy miso ramen brings a delightful kick, combining a bold miso base with chili paste, sesame oil, and a dash of garlic that warms you from the inside out. Whether you prefer something light or hearty, there’s always a bowl waiting for you at Yoko Ramen.

Beyond the ramen, Yoko Ramen also offers a selection of sides that pair perfectly with your meal. The gyoza, with its crispy, golden-brown exterior and savory filling, provides a delightful contrast to the rich, umami-packed ramen. Another popular side is their Takoyaki, with just the right amount of crispy outside and tender inside, topped with bonito flakes and a tangy sauce that elevates the dish to new heights.

The interior of Yoko Ramen is both cozy and stylish, making it an ideal spot for both casual meals with friends and more intimate dining experiences. The minimalist decor, with warm wood accents and subtle lighting, creates a relaxed atmosphere perfect for enjoying your meal. And if you’re lucky enough to snag a seat near the kitchen, you can watch the chefs prepare each dish with meticulous care, showcasing their expertise and passion for ramen.

One thing that really sets Yoko Ramen apart is the attention to detail and the use of high-quality ingredients. The chefs take pride in sourcing the freshest produce and meats, ensuring that every bowl of ramen is not only delicious but also made with the best possible ingredients. It’s clear that Yoko Ramen values authenticity while also being open to modern twists on traditional ramen dishes.

The service at Yoko Ramen is consistently top-notch, with friendly staff who are knowledgeable about the menu and eager to help you find the perfect dish. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a regular, the team at Yoko Ramen makes you feel at home from the moment you walk in.

For those who love ramen, Yoko Ramen offers an experience that goes beyond just food. It’s a place where every bite tells a story, and the ambiance and service make it all the more enjoyable. Located in a convenient part of Salt Lake City, it’s easy to see why this spot has become a beloved local gem.

If you're planning to visit, keep in mind that the restaurant tends to get busy, especially during peak dining hours, so it’s a good idea to make a reservation ahead of time. However, even if you have to wait, the experience is well worth it, and you can always pass the time by perusing their menu or chatting with the friendly staff.

Overall, whether you’re a ramen aficionado or just looking for a great place to eat, Yoko Ramen offers a satisfying and flavorful experience that won’t disappoint.

  • Ramen was some of the best I’ve had. Broth was super rich and flavorful. It was a little pricey and took a while to come out, but worth it!

  • My favorite ramen spot BY FAR! The food is always exceptional, and I LOVE their seasonal peach habanero wings! This is my go-to spot for rainy/chill days, and especially after a long night out! Could not recommend this place more if I tried.

  • Cozy atmosphere. Great ramen with modern touches but not veering too far from the traditional. Gyoza, wings were great. Don’t pass on the fries. Not your typical side to ramen but not your typical fries either. You won’t regret getting them.

  • The service very good, especially considering the staff member was handling the register, serving food, and cleaning tables all on her own. She was friendly and efficient. The food was just as advertised, tasty and satisfying.

  • Over-the-counter joints with a limited menu like Yoko are always my preferred. The atmosphere and service are great. The ramen is good but nothing special. The chicken sandwich is excellent.

  • The pork shoyu was very good, maybe a tiny bit too salty, but overall very good. However the portions were a little smaller than I hoped for considering the price. After the ramen and some gyoza, I was still left a bit hungry. Overall pretty decent but not my favorite ramen restaurant.
